Did you know that many visual aging signs can be traced back to volume loss? Aging gradually results in the formation of deep facial wrinkles and skin folds from volume loss, skin laxity, and supportive bone and fat loss in different areas of the face. Dermal fillers can replace lost volume and help smooth wrinkles, plump the lips and help restore a more youthful appearance by being injected beneath the skin.
HA or Hyaluronic Acid is a gel like substance that our body naturally produces to help keep skin plump and hydrated. When injected, the results are temporary lasting between 6 to 12 months or longer before your body gradually absorbs the product.
All fillers used at Bella Aesthetics by Amber, LLC are FDA approved.
Dermal Filler injections are non surgical and completed during your office visit. After being cleared by the MD/NP/PA you will have a consultation with Amber and discuss your areas of concern and your goals. Depending on products and areas treated some results are immediate after receiving injections. Some patients notice swelling and/or bruising to the area, this is normal and will subside over the next few days.
What is Hyaluronic Acid (HA)?
HA is a naturally occurring sugar in the body and helps facilitate the skin's ability to stay hydrated.
What are HA Dermal Fillers?
HA fillers are clear gels that are injected beneath skin and add volume to reduce that appearance of wrinkles and folds on the face.
How long does the filler last?
HA fillers are a temporary option and most likely will need to be redone to keep the volume desired. Typically the filler lasts 6-18 months, injections in the lips seem to wear off a little faster than fillers injected in other areas.

Other risks that are less likely, but may occur, include: acne like skin eruptions, skin sensitivity (rash, itching, tenderness), skin infection, damage to nerves or blood vessels, skin lumpiness, scarring, skin necrosis, hyperpigmentation, reactivation of blisters or skin sores.
